W3-The CGI project has been finished!

The picture is so nice, guess what it is?? It is CPU, you got it. I like hardware, the development of hardware is as fast as software technique. As everybody is talking about the Core Dua which means a CPU with 2 cores, AMD Corporation has revealed its newest 4 cores CPU. Can you imaging how fast is it?? I like new things, the competition between Intel and AMD is so fierce, and the largest CPU manufacturers are making computer hardware perform so well. As a will-be IT professional, we should not only care about the software technique but also the hard ware development. I had met a girl who graduated from university major in CS, she once asked me with a DDR-ram if it was CPU. Oh, my god!! I couldn’t help astonishing. This week, I learn a lot of thing in CGI programming. I began to know something about UNIX system. On the lecture, I learn how to use CSS to make the layout and run a simple Python program in UNIX and on the browser. It really broadens my view. Thanks to our teacher Dr. Chun, he is so nice and patient. Now I am about to finish my CGI program, it feels so great. CGI is an old technology, but in the process of doing the program, I get to know more about the program in server side. Well to tell you the truth, I am very much to make my lab top to be a server; this is my first time to establish it by using Apache 2.2.4 and Python 2.5. I found it is not that hard to set up a server, you just put all the pages in a document call htdocs, and put python CGI files to cgi-bin, and then other things should give to Apache. It is all that simple. To run CGI program, one of the most important thing is configure the right path. Chmod +x name.cgi is the most confusing thing before this lecture. Now I know that it is a UNIX command which can only be executed in UNIX system.
